ResonsibilitiesInnovation Program Manager is a member of a cross‑functional project team. As a team member he/she is responsible for fulfillment of innovation project objectives: robust, verified and reliable product in required time, quality and costs.
- Identify with Business Development & Sales each customer business opportunities and build for each Innovation program a sales roadmap.
- Ensure with Business development & Sales that OPmobility will receive the targeted RFQ, RFI
- Build robust business plan selecting strategic innovation program taking into account OPmobility innovation portfolio, customer expectations and future market trends.
- Connect OPmobility innovation proposal to customer needs and lobby for customer adoption (tease & test actions…)
- Identify and consolidate the resources & competencies needed for the Innovation program and build the core team and the extended team as well as the program budget & planning
- Ensures the OPTINOV ‘Program plan’ and the total innovation budget (costs, resources and timing) is in accordance with the agreed plan.
- Identify funding and other support opportunities (OEM, optimise French credit tax, funded & subsidised programmes, local authorities) to optimise program budget
- Define with all stakeholders the key outcomes of each innovation program (following the Innovation process through OPTINOV)
- Define the targeted performance matrix of the program and set up clear objectives for the whole team
- Establishes and manages the master program timing plan (from idea generation up to the end of the transfer phase) ensuring it conforms to acquisition radar timing (acquisition radar in the sales roadmap)
- Follows and applies the innovation roadmap cascaded by the Innovation Program director.
- At the end of the innovation program: determines the status against the original program objectives and feeds back lessons learned.
- Successfully completed studies in the fields of business administration, industrial engineering, electrical engineering/electronics, physics optoelectronics, mechatronics or comparable
- Experience:
Experience in business development with regular customer contact, strategy and business development in the automotive sector. In addition, project manager experience with appropriate methods and tool knowledge in interdisciplinary teams – ideal in the automotive development or innovation area - Expert knowledge: of automotive exterior lighting systems by knowing main basis technologies and key aspects
- Personality:
Strong communication skills and persuasive skills on a technical or business level, as well as a confident demeanor, structured and independent way of working and customer affinity. Affinity for business development - Also:
Willingness to travel in Germany and abroad, very good written and spoken German and English skills.
