Description
- Analyze lab-scale processes and data records to develop bench/pilot-scale prototypes based on scientific principles and engineering practices
- Design and modify parts and assemblies in Solid Works
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion
- Follow laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Perform hands‑on prototype assembly, preventative maintenance, failure analysis, and repairs when necessary
- Assist in developing improvements and troubleshooting pilot plant equipment
- Proficient in 3D modeling and drawing creation
- Ability to create unique concepts for highly constrained design space
- Technical communication skills using presentations, documents, and spreadsheets
- Able to quickly process and retain new information
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Solid Works experience
- Conceptual knowledge of electrical systems and chemistry
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with 0-2 years of experience
