Honda Development & Manufacturing of America is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in Raymond, OH. You will design, model, and validate automotive mechanical components and sub-systems, collaborating closely with styling, testing, and production engineering to deliver top-tier vehicle performance.

• Develop 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings using CATIA for vehicle body and chassis structures.
• Plan and execute engineering milestones to achieve project safety, cost, and delivery targets.
• Partner with suppliers to establish part specifications, evaluate design trade-offs, and review prototypes.
• Support hands‑on vehicle testing and test‑track validation, analyzing mechanical data.
• Proactively identify engineering bottlenecks and propose creative design solutions.

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• 0-2 years of experience in automotive mechanical design or related engineering internship.
• Hands‑on CAD proficiency (CATIA V5/V6 preferred) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong understanding of engineering mechanics, materials selection, and manufacturing methods.
• Excellent collaboration, organization, and written/verbal communication skills.
