We are looking to add new talent to our growing team! We are currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer 3 to work in a technical support role with highly skilled professionals on diverse project teams in a dynamic environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing group and company and get involved in a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients.

This is a full-time position located in our Cincinnati, OH office.

In this role, you will provide technical leadership for complex civil engineering projects serving industrial and energy market clients. You will lead stormwater design, compliance, and permitting efforts; perform and oversee hydraulic and hydrologic modeling; and guide the preparation of high-quality technical deliverables using Civil 3D and other engineering applications. You will work closely with clients and multidisciplinary project teams to develop practical solutions that satisfy technical, regulatory, and business objectives.

The role also includes project management support, client relationship management, and the mentoring and development of technical staff.

• Lead the execution of project work and proposals on large and/or complex multi-disciplinary projects to align with company-defined business objectives and client expectations in partnership with the project team.
• Demonstrate strong technical competence, knowledge of codes and regulations, and professional standards of practice to assigned tasks.
• Regularly coach, mentor, and direct staff in the quality execution of projects and preparation of analyses, technical reports, and other deliverables, with a focus on developing skills to support their professional growth.
• Leverage your understanding of codes, regulations, and professional standards of practice associated with project work in your area of expertise to align project scopes with client objectives and regulatory requirements to deliver superior client value.
• Leverage your learning to increase the technical capabilities of others and the overall technical performance of the company.
• Excel in your field by engaging with external organizations, delivering internal and external presentations, and contributing to technical publications.
• Lead the performance of technical evaluations, design efforts, permitting, design and contract package development, construction procurement support, and possess the ability to function as Engineer of Record on civil and environmental projects.
• Direct and lead complex civil and environmental construction projects involving contractor management, construction quality control and field/laboratory testing as Engineer of Record.
• Lead all work in accordance with company and client health and safety protocols.
