Job Overview

Games Workshop is looking for an experienced Events Manager to take the lead in delivering spectacular Warhammer events across the UK and Europe. This is an exciting role where you will have the opportunity to deliver events that showcase the best of Warhammer, while playing a key role in shaping the future of our events in this region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver seven major events throughout the year that leave a positive lasting impression on our fans.
  • Work closely with the Global Head of Events, Senior Event Manager, Senior Organised Play Manager and Global Events team, managing both Games Workshop led events and supporting independent Warhammer events, such as conventions and tournaments.
  • Negotiate lasting agreements and foster valuable partnerships with host venues and vendors to ensure on-budget, on-time success.
  • Hit sales targets, manage budgets and create exceptional experiences for everyone you interact with.
  • Manage and inspire full and part-time event staff through each stage of planning and execution, building an environment of honesty and collaboration.
  • Track event performance, learn from each experience and make continuous improvements to events.
Qualifications
  • Passion for the Warhammer community and ability to keep smiling amidst the chaos.
  • Organised, resilient, and excited about making events even better.
  • Strong data skills to track performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Experience in event management, preferably in gaming or related industries.
Benefits and Work Conditions
  • Remote based position from the UK, France, Germany or Spain.
  • International travel required to attend and support 7+ events per year; each event may involve a stay of approximately 5-6 days.
