We are looking for a dedicated Health Coach to join Big Sur Health Center, a leading healthcare provider. As a Health Coach, you will play a crucial role in promoting healthy lifestyles and guiding individuals towards their wellness goals. Your work will be essential in supporting our mission to improve the overall well-being of our community members. You will be involved in creating personalized health plans, conducting coaching sessions, and empowering individuals to make positive lifestyle changes.
As a Health Coach at Big Sur Health Center, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects aimed at enhancing the health and wellness of our clients. Your role will involve providing one-on-one coaching, developing educational materials, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about health promotion, behavior change, and making a meaningful impact on people’s lives.
Responsibilities:- Create personalized health plans based on individual needs and goals
- Conduct coaching sessions to support clients in achieving their health objectives
- Monitor client progress and provide ongoing guidance and motivation
- Develop and deliver educational workshops on various health topics
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate care and referrals
- Stay updated on the latest health trends and research in the field
- Document client interactions and maintain accurate records
- Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
- Associate degree in Health Coaching, Nutrition, or related field
- Certification as a Health Coach from a recognized program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathetic approach and ability to build rapport with clients
- Knowledge of behavior change theories and motivational interviewing techniques
- Experience in developing and implementing health education programs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in using technology for virtual coaching sessions and record-keeping
