Job Overview
DIRECT CARE PRACTICE:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PA to join our independent direct care clinic in Hicksville, OH. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.

Our goal is to see an average of just 6-8 patients per day allowing each patient longer appointment times and the provider plenty of time for charting. Our patients are billed a per month fee so billing and coding are not required for visits. We do not take insurance so there is no red tape for clinic visits. Schedule can be somewhat flexible as long as we have plenty of advanced notice.

This is currently a single provider clinic so experience in a family medicine setting is a must. You will have direct contact for support when needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical histories.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices.
• Provide health coaching to patients to promote wellness and lifestyle changes.
• Perform laboratory tests and interpret results to guide treatment decisions.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in medical records
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management strategies.
• Provide cost conscious options for medication management, imaging, and utilize specialist support when appropriate.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Current certification by a recognized certifying body.
• Proficiency in medical documentation practices and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective patient interaction and collaboration with the healthcare team.
• A strong focus on lifestyle counseling, nutrition, exercise, and use of supplements in addition to traditional medical care.
• Experience with direct care clinic model is a plus.
