Medical Assistant

• Welcome and room patients, taking vitals, and updating medical histories
• Assist the physician with in-office procedures and treatments
• Manage and prep exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain cleanliness standards
• Schedule appointments and follow-ups, verify insurance, and handle basic administrative tasks
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) preferred
• Previous experience in podiatry or orthopedics is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Great with people - from toddlers to seniors
• Comfortable working both front and back office
• A team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with EMR software a plus

Balance Foot & Ankle Wellness Center is a growing and evolving surgical podiatric practice that is family owned. Our patient-centered practice encompasses all foot and ankle conditions from traumatic injuries, congenial conditions, skin and nail disorders, diabetic foot care and diabetic shoes, custom orthotics, in-office procedures, and wound care.
