Pharmacist, Healthcare

Brewster Family Pharmacy is seeking a part-time to full-time Pharmacist.

We are located just 20 minutes from Canton and 10 minutes from Massillon.

Position involves working in a retail pharmacy and long term care combo shop pharmacy setting. Pharmacy is open Monday through Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday 9am-12noon. Saturday work schedule is on a rotational basis. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends.

• Dispense prescriptions accurately while adhering to all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
• Provide expert medication counseling and patient education to promote optimal health outcomes
• Manage pharmacy operations efficiently, including inventory control
• Lead and manage pharmacy teams, fostering a collaborative environment focused on high-quality patient care and service excellence
• Ensure pharmaceutical regulatory compliance by maintaining documentation in accordance with HIPAA, medical confidentiality policies, and drug regulation standards
• Utilize pharmacy software systems for prescription processing, patient records management, and clinical documentation
• Administer immunizations and maintain BLS certification
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals professionally and efficiently to optimize medication therapy

• Valid pharmacist license in good standing with The Ohio State Board of Pharmacy
• Demonstrated ability to manage pharmacy teams effectively while ensuring high standards of patient service and safety
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
• Previous pharmacy work experience in a retail or long term care pharmacy preferred
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Certification to administer vaccinations required
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients clearly while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies
