Housekeeper

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at The Ohioan Hotel & Event Center (formerly Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center), located in a 15‑acre park‑like setting just north of Columbus, Ohio. Our property features 193 stylishly appointed guest rooms and suites, as well as 45,000 square feet of customizable meeting spaces.

Compensation and Benefits:

• $17.50 hourly wage

Essential Functions:

• Respond to guest and departmental needs/requests
• Prepare rooms for cleaning: make beds, dust, replenish supplies, clean bathrooms and closets, vacuum, etc.
• Check and secure rooms
• Deliver and retrieve items (e.g., iron, ironing board)
• Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests
• Perform rotation cleaning duties including steam cleaning carpets, spring cleaning, super cleaning, as required
• Achieve and exceed guest satisfaction score
• Confirm completion of tasks with front desk

Required Skills:

• Great attention to detail
• Ability to follow basic instructions
• Strong communication skills
