Club Lounge Attendant

The Club Lounge Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional, personalized service to guests utilizing the hotel’s exclusive club lounge. This position supports the daily operation of the lounge by preparing and maintaining food and beverage presentations, welcoming guests, monitoring service areas, and ensuring a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment.

The ideal candidate is professional, attentive, approachable, and detail-oriented, with a genuine passion for hospitality. The Club Lounge Attendant anticipates guest needs, responds promptly to requests, and consistently upholds the service standards and guest experience expectations of the Renaissance Toledo Downtown Hotel.

• Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit.
• Verify guest eligibility for lounge access in accordance with hotel policies.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to questions, requests, and concerns.
• Maintain a professional, approachable presence while building positive relationships with repeat guests.
• Provide accurate information regarding hotel amenities, food and beverage offerings, operating hours, and local attractions.
• Handle guest concerns courteously and communicate unresolved issues to management.
• Maintain guest confidentiality and adhere to hotel service standards.

• Prepare, set up, replenish, and maintain food and beverage displays during designated service periods.
• Ensure food is presented attractively and maintained at appropriate temperatures in accordance with food safety standards.
• Maintain adequate supplies of beverages, condiments, utensils, plates, glassware, and other service items.
• Monitor product quality, freshness, presentation, and availability throughout service.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, allergen awareness, and responsible alcohol service procedures.
• Assist with the preparation and service of breakfast, snacks, hors d’oeuvres, evening refreshments, and other offerings as assigned.
• Monitor inventory and communicate replenishment needs, shortages, and waste to management.
• Follow established procedures for handling and securing food and beverage products.

• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the lounge before, during, and after service.
• Clear used dishes and glassware promptly and maintain clean tables and seating areas.
• Clean and sanitize counters, equipment, beverage stations, and food service areas.
• Complete opening, closing, and side-work checklists accurately and consistently.
• Ensure the lounge is properly stocked, organized, and ready for each service period.
• Report maintenance concerns, equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, and facility issues promptly.

• Communicate effectively with Food & Beverage management, culinary staff, housekeeping, front desk, and other hotel departments.
• Coordinate food and beverage replenishment and communicate guest requests or special accommodations.
• Assist with special events, VIP arrangements, and other guest service needs as directed.
• Follow hotel policies, departmental procedures, and applicable brand standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall success of hotel operations.

• Previous experience in hospitality, food and beverage service, customer service, or a related field preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor appropriate for an upscale hotel environment.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented operation.
