Human Resources Generalist
Location:
Carey, OH

- Partner with hiring managers to execute full-cycle recruiting, including posting positions, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, extending offers, and managing pre-employment processes.
- Lead onboarding and orientation processes for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition and positive first‑day experience.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees and leaders regarding HR-related inquiries, policy interpretation, and employee relations concerns.
- Support administration of HR processes including benefits, compensation, performance reviews, attendance tracking, and leave management.
- Maintain employee records in ADP and Workday with a high level of accuracy, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company and legal requirements.
- Assist in the implementation of HR programs, policies, and initiatives to support business objectives and a positive workplace culture.
- Partner with leadership to identify talent needs, retention strategies, and development opportunities to strengthen workforce capability.
- Conduct and assist in investigations related to employee relations issues in partnership with HR leadership.
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and ensure adherence to company policies and collective bargaining agreements (if applicable).
- Provide HR reporting and analytics to management to support workforce planning and decision‑making.
- Participate in cross‑functional HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR service delivery.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. - Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive environment. Experience supporting unionized facilities strongly preferred. - Systems:
Advanced working knowledge of ADP and Workday HRIS. - Knowledge:
Strong understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and HR administrative processes. - Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
