Bilingual HR Assistant
Location:
Saint Paris, OH, 43072
Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $22.00/hr

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Bilingual HR Assistant to join our dynamic Human Resources team. The HR Assistant will provide administrative support in various HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, benefits, and training. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills in Spanish and English, attention to detail, and a passion for contributing to a positive work environment.
- Recruitment Support:
- Assist in posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and preparing candidate materials.
- Communicate with candidates and schedule interviews in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
- Employee Onboarding:
- Assist in the new hire onboarding process, ensuring all necessary documents are completed and filed.
- Prepare employee welcome packets and ensure all new employees are informed of company policies and procedures.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration:
- Assist in the processing of payroll by ensuring timely submission of attendance, overtime, and leave records.
- Coordinate employee benefits enrollment and help with related inquiries.
- Maintain and update employee records regarding benefits and other HR-related information.
- Training and Development:
- Assist in the coordination and scheduling of employee training sessions.
- Track employee attendance at training and development programs.
- Employee Relations Support:
- Assist with handling employee queries and issues with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
- General Administrative Support:
- Maintain employee records in both paper and electronic formats.
- Handle administrative duties, such as answering HR-related phone calls and emails, and assisting in the preparation of reports.
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience:
- Proven experience as an HR Assistant or in other administrative roles is an advantage.
- Familiarity with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Skills &
Competencies:- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Knowledge of HR processes and labor laws is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
