Overview

As the Human Resource Manager at Kern-Liebers USA, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and driving strategic HR initiatives to support the business objectives of the organization. This is an opportunity for a dynamic leader to shape human resource policies and practices while promoting an environment of inclusivity and collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization
  • Lead recruitment and selection processes to attract top talent
  • Manage performance management processes and develop programs to enhance employee development
  • Address employee relations issues, mediate conflicts, and manage disciplinary actions effectively
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and maintain HR policies and procedures
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitive offerings and compliance
  • Facilitate training programs and workshops to promote continuous learning and professional development
  • Act as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues
  • Develop metrics to measure effectiveness of HR initiatives and report to senior leadership
Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
    Master s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SPHR) is a plus
  • A minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations
  • Proven experience in employee relations, recruitment, and performance management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to advise and influence at all levels
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
  • Experience with HRIS and other HR-related software
  • Ability to analyze data to support decision-making
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Safety/Environmental experience
