Title:
HR Assistant.
The HR Assistant provides clerical and administrative support to the human resources department. The individual in this role will be involved in recruitment, payroll administration and other areas of human resources.
Responsibilities- Provides support for the recruiting process (e.g., schedule interviews, sending background checks, attending job fairs/recruitment events as needed, drug tests and contacting select candidates).
- Coordinates the new hire orientation process (e.g., scheduling the orientation, preparing orientation paperwork, and creating the employee files), including I-9 completion/compliance.
- Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
- Provides support on auditing, reviewing and processing the paperwork and forms.
- Participates in special projects and initiatives, to include engagement, job fairs and HR assessments.
- Maintains confidentiality and performs all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Supports company Open Enrollment period to ensure smooth processing.
- Supports Payroll processing.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Education:
High school diploma or GED required. - Experience:
1 year of human resources/payroll/clerical experience preferred. - Computer
Skills:
Microsoft Office. - Language
