About the RoleWe are seeking a Field Application Specialist
, based in Germany
, to join a world class customer success and implementation team. This position bridges science, technology, and clinical practice, helping laboratories integrate advanced AI powered digital solutions that replace traditional manual workflows. You will work across pre‑sales, installation, training, and ongoing customer support, collaborating closely with commercial, technical, and R&D teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Lead implementation and integration of digital diagnostic solutions with customer systems and middleware
- Conduct on site and virtual user training sessions, workshops, and validation support
- Guide customers through regulatory and validation requirements for system deployment
- Provide expert pre and post sales technical support
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve complex issues and ensure product reliability
- Partner with laboratories to optimise digital workflow adoption and ROI
- Gather user insights and performance data to help shape product improvements
- Maintain trusted, long‑term relationships with clinical users and key stakeholders
- Support demonstrations at conferences, trade shows, and customer sites
- Collaborate with commercial teams to drive engagement and adoption
- German speaking required
- Minimum two years of experience in a haematology or clinical laboratory environment (certification to work in a haematology lab)
- Hands on experience with blood smears, bone marrow analysis, or cell morphology
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, confident leading training and supporting customers
- Passionate about AI, digital transformation, and innovation in healthcare
- Flexible to travel up to 60 percent
