IT specialist application development

In your training to become an IT specialist in application development, you will design and execute software projects in accordance with customer requirements. For this, you will analyze and plan IT systems. You will also be responsible for training the users.

• You will receive extensive training in software solutions for technical, mathematical and scientific, and commercial areas of application as well as for multimedia applications, expert systems and networked production facilities
• You will learn how to create new application software specifically for the customer
• In project development, you will help manage the commercial, technical and organizational aspects of customer-specific application solutions, including quality assurance
• You will learn how to develop, create, maintain, edit and customize programs
• You will independently develop ergonomic, i.e. user-friendly, user interfaces that are suitable for the application
• You will learn how to prepare user-friendly technical documents
• You will be taught methods for project planning, execution and monitoring
• You will have the opportunity to monitor the market for IT technologies and systems, and hardware and software products
• Mittlere Reife/Hochschulreife (general certificate of secondary education/university entrance qualification)
• Good grades in computer science and mathematics
• Good proficiency in English
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Open and friendly towards other people
• You will receive practical training in a company with many years of experience in vocational training and will have a permanent contact person throughout the training period
