About our ClientOur Client is a Munich-based inheritance planning company that has developed proprietary software to better serve their customers. They are now transitioning this solution into a SaaS platform for broader client use.
About the roleWe are looking for a QA Engineer to join a small, agile software team and take ownership of frontend and user testing for a growing platform. The QA will work closely with the developer and product owner to ensure software quality, usability, and reliability.
This is an opportunity to build and shape the testing processes from the ground up introducing structure, automation, and best practices where needed.
Responsibilities- Plan, execute, and document manual frontend and user acceptance tests
- Develop and maintain regression testing routines
- Introduce and establish A/B testing frameworks to validate user experience improvements
- Gradually introduce automation for E2E tests using tools such as Playwright or Cypress
- Collaborate closely with the developer to ensure unit testing is covered on the backend side
- Work independently to identify issues, propose improvements, and verify fixes
- Maintain test cases and results in Jira / Atlassian tools
- 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer (manual and/or automation)
- Experience with frontend testing

, and user acceptance testing - Knowledge of Playwright
, Cypress
, or similar automation tools - Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS)
- Experience working in small teams or startup-like environments
- Structured, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to testing and quality assurance
