*** Roles & Responsibilities
*** To write profitable Marine Cargo and Marine Liability business in line with the underwriting plan;
* Manage underwriting risk exposures through aggregate limited and reinsurance;
* Manage day-to-day operations of the Marine Continental Europe team, cover holder performance and associates reporting;
* Ability to travel to meet colleagues, brokers and clients across Germany and Europe;
* Analyse existing portfolio to ensure long-term profitability.
** Experience Required
*** At least 10 years experience in the Marine insurance market;
* In depth knowledge of the various transport sectors with a focus on industrial business and an overview of the transport insurance market;
* Sound appreciation of the European insurance and reinsurance market.
** Qualifications
* ** University degree and/or have completed an insurance apprenticeship and ideally have successfully completed the transport specialist course;
* You speak fluent German and English and ideally another foreign language.
