Language and Linguistic Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering top-tier linguistic solutions. As a Language & Linguistic Specialist (LLS), you will bring your in-depth knowledge and expertise in a specific field to provide valuable insights, guidance, and support to projects, educational initiatives, product development, and other activities. Your role involves sharing your expertise to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is utilized, contributing to the success and quality of various endeavors.

Role

& Responsibilities
  • Analyze and enhance language models for accuracy, consistency, and cultural relevance.
  • Conduct linguistic research to improve language processing and translation systems.
  • Review, edit, and refine content for grammar, syntax, and style adherence.
  • Collaborate with AI and NLP teams to refine linguistic datasets and algorithms.
  • Perform quality assurance for translations and transcriptions to ensure they align with current best practices and industry standards.
  • Develop linguistic rules, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Continuously enhance your expertise by staying engaged with ongoing learning, attending conferences, participating in webinars, and networking with peers in your field.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, or related field.
  • Strong expertise in language(s) with native or near-native proficiency.
  • Knowledge of multiple languages is a plus.
  • Background in forensic linguistics or sociolinguistics is an advantage.
  • Experience in natural language processing (NLP), localization, or linguistic analysis.
  • Familiarity with phonetics, syntax, semantics, and morphology.
  • Proficiency in linguistic tools and software.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
