Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Attorney, who has between 0-6 years experience in family law. Our office is located in Westerville, OH. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, handling divorce and dissolution cases, conducting legal research, and helping the partners and other associates with their cases. The role will also involve handling labor and employment law issues, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court.
Day-to-day tasks will include preparing legal documents, attending court hearings, and advising clients on legal matters.
- Experience in Family Law
- Skills in providing Legal Advice and conducting Legal Research
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Previous experience in a law firm or legal department is preferred
