Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Supply Planning COE, you will define, document and implement Global Supply Planning processes and a future‑state planning tool for the Tools & Outdoor Business Unit. Leveraging your expertise in Supply & Material Planning and system implementation, you’ll evaluate existing end‑to‑end processes by region and design future‑state ways of working to shape the future of planning at Stanley Black & Decker.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a key member of the Supply Planning COE team, providing expertise in Supply and Material Planning.
  • Collaborate with IT and global/regional partners to ensure current‑state business continuity and future‑state processes are supported by technology.
  • Streamline and standardize existing Supply and Material Planning reporting and key routines across regions in partnership with Supply Deploy COE, Analytics COE, and IT.
  • Maintain and refine Supply and Material Planning processes within the Global Planning Playbook.
  • Analyze current‑state processes by region to understand detailed differences in weekly planning execution, systems, data, planning scope, and structure.
  • Partner with COE Deploy teams to understand tactical process opportunities and assess current process maturity.
  • Develop and deliver process training strategies in collaboration with COE Deploy teams, ensuring effective regional implementation.
  • Attend regional supply meetings to understand current process status and identify potential opportunity areas.
  • Support the Supply Planning COE in Plan Together system requirement validation, testing, and global implementation.
  • Assist with global supply planning improvement initiatives as needed.
Desired Skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of supply chain planning technology (JDA, Kinaxis, SAP IBP, etc.).
  • Ability to convey complex ideas in both technical and business language.
  • Leadership, coaching, and training skills across global organizations, functions, and levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster innovation and continuous improvement within planning teams.
  • Strategic and tactical operating ability in a high‑energy, fast‑paced environment.
Person Required
  • BS in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4+ years of supply chain planning and project management experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of supply and material planning principles, best practices, and systems.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools to support decision‑making.
  • Extensive experience training on process and planning tool capabilities.
  • Experience implementing planning systems such as Kinaxis, SAP IBP, or Blue Yonder in large, global organizations.
  • Flexibility to travel, including internationally, ~15% of the time.

Legal & Compensation

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship (H1B, OPT/CPT, TN, etc.).

Base pay range for Maryland: $80,300 – $129,300 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign‑on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, depending on the position offered.
