Materials and Supply Chain Coordinator
Location:
Batavia, OH
Pay Rate: $33.00 - $37.00 per hour
Schedule:
Full-Time
Keep production moving and make an immediate impact. We are seeking an experienced Materials & Supply Chain Coordinator to support purchasing, inventory management, sourcing, shipping/receiving, and supply chain operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Qualifications- High School Diploma required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory control, supply chain, or materials management
- Background in manufacturing, fabrication, automotive, or industrial environments preferred
- Experience with purchase orders, vendor management, and ERP or inventory systems
- Working knowledge of BOMs (Bills of Materials) and inventory tracking
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Source and purchase parts, materials, supplies, and equipment
- Create and manage purchase orders and vendor relationships
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate material records
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments
- Track delivery schedules, backorders, and supply chain disruptions
- Coordinate returns, warranty claims, exchanges, and vendor credits
- Support production schedules by ensuring material availability
- Maintain organized inventory storage and documentation
- Collaborate with production, project management, and operations teams
- Ability to move throughout warehouse and production areas
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting materials as needed
- Ability to handle shipping and receiving activities
