- American Honda Motor Co., Inc. is seeking a Procurement Sourcing Specialist in Raymond, OH. You will competitively bid outsourced parts, evaluate supplier proposals, and negotiate piece prices for components utilized in global ATV and side-by-side (SxS) vehicle manufacturing.
- Request, review, and negotiate supplier quotations to establish competitive component pricing.
- Execute supplier sourcing strategies to meet annual Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Morale (SQCDM) targets.
- Recommend optimal supplier maker layout selections based on quality, capacity, and cost factors.
- Collaborate with design engineers during blueprint maturation to optimize part design for cost.
- Manage supplier commercial relationships and execute signature commitment authorizations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related technical discipline.
- Prior purchasing, sourcing, or cost management experience (powersports or automotive preferred).
- Ability to read blueprints, understand engineering specifications, and analyze cost breakdowns.
- Strong commercial negotiation, analytical reasoning, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with powersports (ATV / SxS) products and manufacturing processes.
