New River Electricalislookingforaqualified Rental Asset Coordinatorskilledinrentalequipment .Inthisroleyouwillgetthechancetojoinagrowing Fleet&Facilitiesteamandestablishalastingcareerinadynamicandinnovativeworkenvironment.

New River Electricalhasestablisheditselfasthetrustedelectricalcontractorforcoast -to-coastelectricalconstruction.

Asthe Rental Asset Coordinator ,youwillsupporttherentalorganizationandadministrationofthe

Fleet&Facilitiesfunction.

The Rental Asset Coordinatorwillberesponsiblefortheordering ,control,dissemination,andoff-rentingofall3rdpartyequipment,trucks,andspecialtytoolingneededforourfieldoperations.

This includes,butisnotlimitedtoovertheroadassets,yellow iron,aerial,andmaterialhandlingequipment,aswellasspecialtyrigging,stringinggear,andtooling.

Insummarythispositionistheliaisonbetweenfieldneedsofourcrewsandprojectmanagementforoutsideequipmentneeds,anddirectvendormanagementinexecutingandclosingrentalcontracts.

Thisrolereportstothe Fleet&Equipment Purchasing Manager .

Duties/Responsibilities

• • Responsibleforfieldingcallsandemailsfrom Project Managersandotherleadersin Operationsforoutsideequipmentneeds ,andbeingtheleadfacilitatortofind,fix,andcontractequipmentandtoolstocovertheirneedsfromvariousvendorsacrossthe

  • Directmanagementandoversightofallrentalassetsandinputofcontractsintocompanyassettrackingsoftware.
  • Communicatewithother Construction Assets Stafftoensurepriortooutsiderentalallinternalequipmentopportunitiesareexhausted .
  • Monitorrentalequipmentutilizationfactors(where available) andadviseleadershipteamsoflowutilization/usage.
  • Managereportedharddownand/ordamagesituationinsymphonywith
    
    Fieldand Fleet Operationsandensuretimelycommunication /capitalmanagementofrepairswith3rdpartyvendorsorinternalrepairsand/ormaintenanceneeds.
  • Ensureadditionalupfitsrequiredforrentalsarecompletedatinserviceandthenremovedatoffrent.
  • Verifyandmanagealloutsiderentalsarekeptincomplianceforcalibrationsandrequiredinspections(DOT,ANSI,etc.).
  • Assist,as necessary,the Project
    
    Management and/orAccounts
    
    Payableteamsontimelypaymentofinvoices.
  • Provide the Director of Construction Support Assetsrecommendationsfornewassetpurchasesbasedonrentalvolumeandcompositioninordertoensurestrongerreturnoninvestmentto New River Electrical .
  • Theremaybeoccasionallimitedtravelforoff-sitemeetings,eventsorotherbusinessmatters.

Qualifications

• H.Sor Technical Schooldegreewithpreferencetowardgarageand /ortradeschoolexperienceorapprenticeship;
  
  ASEcertificationaplus.
• Fluentworkingknowledgeandunderstandingofconstructionequipment,utilityequipment,aerialequipment,materialhandlingequipment,andcranes,andtheirlimitations.
• Demonstratedproficiencyin
  
  MSOffice,including
  
  Word,Exceland Outlook.
  
  Experience with Vista Viewpointor ERPpreferred.
• Stronginterpersonalskillsandtheabilitytobuildrelationshipswithstakeholders,including staff,andexternalprofessionals.
• Demonstratedcompetencyindevelopingandmaintaininginternalteamrelationships.
• Excellentverbalandwrittencommunicationskills.
• Stronganalyticalandproblem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suiteorrelatedsoftware .
• Exhibitthehighestlevelofbusinessethicsandconsistentlyadheretoandpromote New Riversvaluesandbeliefs .
