Position Duties & Requirements

We need someone with a passion for solving rubber/polymer problems. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in rubber compounding, chemical analysis, physical/mechanical testing, management and consulting across various rubber industry segments. You will thrive in a fast‑paced environment, interacting with customers via phone, in‑person, and email.

• Bachelor’s degree required; degrees in Chemical, Materials, Polymer, Chemistry, or Physics preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in formulations and compounding; co‑op or internship experience in rubber/plastics preferred.
• Experience developing, maintaining and analyzing chemical compound formulations and properties.
• Experience reducing material cost and waste through formulation and process improvements.
• Experience writing manufacturing specifications for compounds, materials, and mix instructions.
• Experience providing technical support to the Quality organization and to customers to meet product performance requirements.
