Distribution Technician - Lewis Center, OH

Full‑time position, shift:
Wed 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Thurs–Sat 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM. On‑site at Avery Dennison Corporation.

We are seeking a Technician to support quality control, label inspection, and shipping activities to ensure delivery deadlines and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities:

• Accurately inspects, separates, slots, and packages all label/print products.
• Ensures all quality control standards are maintained.
• Uses ERP system to log time and materials accurately.
• Ensures all shipments are completed and shipped to correct destinations per schedule or instructions.
• Communicates problems or quality issues to appropriate individuals.
• Double‑checks all shipments for errors before leaving the facility.
• May communicate with courier companies about delays and special deliveries.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area, uses required PPE, and follows all safety rules.
• May be required to work overtime or on another shift as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Maintains regular attendance.

Physical demands:

• Stands 2/3 to full time on the shift daily.
• Uses hands and fingers to handle items 1/3 to 2/3 of the shift.
• Reaches with hands and arms 1/3 to 2/3 of the shift.
• Lifts 50 pounds 1/3 to 2/3 of the shift.
• Requires close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) and color vision.

Minimum education and qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Compliance with company drug‑free workplace and safety policies.
