Job Summary
Clean flame cut parts and mark with the appropriate information. Inspect the cut quality and ensure the parts are dimensionally correct. Follow all safety protocols.

Supervisory Responsibilities
None

• Remove all slag and sharp edges from cut parts.
• Cut lead in/out off parts.
• Verify dimensions of parts are within customer tolerance.
• Mark appropriate information on parts according to the work order.
• Fill out inspection form and record in ERP system.
• Keep work area clean and clear of tripping hazards.
• Package parts.
• Work on repairing burning tables.
• Operate cranes as needed.
• Remove scale from furnace cars and base.

• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Hand /eye coordination.
• Computer knowledge.
• Operate forklift and crane.
• Banding of parts to a pallet.
• Operate hand tools, grinder, hand torch, etc.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Standing for long periods of time.
• Occasional kneeling / crouching.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Extended periods of time using hand tools.
• Rolling Mill and steel Service Center environment.
• Work in hot and cold temperatures.
• Work in noisy dusty conditions.
