$22.00/hr - $26.00/hr

Press and verify the flatness of plates and parts according to half standard tolerance chart. Following all safety protocols, while producing quality products that meet customer specifications

• None

• Locate and verify material to be pressed.
• Inspect plates’ flatness using a straight edge and taper gauge.
• Set up plate accordingly on press bed using spacers blocks underneath.
• Verify the tolerance for the plate to be pressed.
• Confirm part meets the tolerance required after pressing.
• Fill out and record all inspection forms and record in ERP system.
• Operate cranes as needed
• All duties of General Labor/Operator A as assigned

• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to read a taper gauge using a straight edge.
• Knowledge of job set up.
• Hand /eye coordination.
• Computer knowledge.
• Operate crane.

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Standing for long periods of time.
• Occasional kneeling / bending at the waist.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Rolling Mill and steel Service Center environment.
• Work in hot and cold temperatures
