Sunday - Thursday 10:45 PM to 6:55 AM
ResponsibilitiesThis position is lead role within an Injection Molding team and provides leadership to a team of 5-8 people to promote safety, produce high quality product, and meet production schedules. In this position you will gain experience in leadership roles and responsibilities, effective leadership communications, technical knowledge on Scientific Injection Molding Process, Basic Problem-Solving methodologies, and Lean Manufacturing.
- Directs the operations of assigned work areas and coordinates with other team leads in the department.
- Organize and assign work according to production schedules.
- Work with Production Manager and Supervisor on planning and production, staffing, and personnel matters.
- Set-up, adjust, and operate all injection mold machining and assembly equipment for plant employees.
- Diagnose machine and tooling problems and make corrections.
- Train and assist new operators.
- Inspect parts per print specifications and pre-post checks.
- Use lift trucks (including WAVE) for stock handling as required.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Must be able to read assembly drawings, perform basic math functions (including metric, angle fractions, and decimals).
- Read blueprints, remember, reason, and analyze and problem solving.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
