Wieland is hiring a Production, General Labor
. The General Labor will be responsible for performing miscellaneous labor functions throughout the Mill. This role is located in Montpelier, OH
and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $22.22 per hour (+ .25 Shift Differential)

Schedule:
Monday - Friday | 2nd Shift: 3 PM - 11 PM

General Labor Responsibilities:

• Instructed by the supervisor on each task
• Tasks may include those similar to:
  • General housekeeping tasks – clean any area of Mill
  • Chopping scrap
  • Handle solid scrap
• Operates forklift to transport oil and trash to designated locations
• Moves scrap to and from various locations
• Maintains equipment and performs duties in a clean and orderly condition
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
• Minimum one-year manufacturing experience preferred

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to extreme temperatures and certain contaminants and must wear common protective or safety equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection, protective clothing, hard hats and respiratory protection such as respirators, (whether negative pressure, positive pressure, supplied air or SCBA). The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud
