Bend, roll, ream or otherwise shape and form steel into parts or products.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. The company will evaluate each request independently to determine the feasibility of the request.
Read and understand MTO/Bill of Material (BOM), coil tags Verify appropriate tools, die, steel, packaging and other items required to perform the job Operate machine and troubleshoot
Load steel, weld, and adjust straightener as needed
Perform quality checks using the required gauges and tools
Stack parts and label/paint as required
Keep area clean including but not limited to removing trash, scrap cardboard, sweep area, removing scrap steel from machine and placing in appropriate container, place tools in proper location
Complete paperwork thoroughly and accurately
Utilize provided computer system to select jobs and document issues.
Follow all safety policies and compliance requirements
Perform other duties as assigned my supervisorQUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or GEDOne to three years of manufacturing experience
Must be able to perform basic skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication
Demonstrate knowledge of computer functions and ability to perform computer operations.
Ability to write and read/comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Must be able to work overtime as scheduled PHYSICAL DEMANDS (Place an “x” where applicable)

While performing the duties of this job, the employee works around mechanical hazards, noise and or vibration on a daily basis. Extreme temperatures and humidity are seasonal in nature.
