A Production Assistant in the Packaging Department contributes directly to the smooth operation of the production line, helps us meet customer demand and maintains high standards of quality by ensuring the efficient and accurate packaging of our products. This is a part-time position including weekend days. The scheduled shift is 25 hours weekly and may include a weekend day(s).

• Packages finished products according to established guidelines and procedures.
• Provides support to the production team by preparing materials and equipment.
• Performs quality checks on packaged items to ensure they meet company standards.
• Manages inventory of packaging supplies and reports any shortages.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborates with team members to achieve production goals.
• Adheres to all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Communicates effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding production status and any issues that arise.
• Available to work at least one weekend day.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Prior experience in a production or packaging environment is a plus.

• Demonstrates
  strong attention to detail.
• Exhibits
  excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Possesses
  good time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Communicates
  effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Understands
  basic inventory management principles.

• Experience with quality control procedures.
• Familiarity with packaging equipment.

  physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
• Involves
  repetitive motions and manual dexterity.
• Works in a production environment with moderate noise levels and varying temperatures.
