Production Support

CES/AWS is currently hiring for Production Support roles with our distribution warehousing client in West Jefferson, OH.

• Pay Rate: $17.00/hr – $18.00/hr

• Quality Inspectors:
• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM

You will support industrial operations by maintaining clean and safe work areas, moving production waste and recycling, changing machine filters, managing tool/parts for inventory.

• Coordinate receiving, staging, storage, and shipping.
• Train, mentor, and lead Inspectors, General Laborers, and Material Handlers.
• Prepare work instructions, set up work cells, and maintain 5S standards.
• Review quality/production data and support employee timekeeping.
• Communicate inventory shortages, delays, or safety concerns with team members and customer representatives.
• Ensure compliance with ISO procedures, continuous improvement, safety, and quality requirements.
• Perform tasks using basic computer systems and scanners.
• Note:
  
  This position requires standing or remaining stationary for extended periods.

• Experience in quality inspection, quality control, manufacturing, production, automotive, or warehousing.
• Experience training, mentoring, or leading coworkers.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow and explain work instructions.
• Basic computer skills and adaptability to operational changes.
• Familiarity with 5S, ISO procedures, or continuous improvement is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance (for local travel).
• Clean background check (no felonies within the last 7 years).
