Job Title:
3rd Shift Maintenance Technician
Mercury Plastics is hiring in Middlefield, Ohio for a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician. Shift: 3rd Shift – Sunday – Thursday 11:00pm – 7:00am. Pay Rate: $37.00/hr depending ON EXPERIENCE.
Job Summary:
An established manufacturing company in Middlefield, OH is seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all work in a safe and professional manner while maintaining a clean work environment
- Quickly identify and resolve work requests on a wide variety of production equipment and processes.
- Keep equipment in safe operating condition
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple work areas with multiple sites
- Complete work orders, PM rounds, repairs, and general maintenance.
- Previous participation in safety and continuous improvement programs with the desire to help make improvements to existing programs
Qualifications:
- High School/GED required.
- Three (3) years industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing preferred
- Technical Degree, Certification or equivalent trades training program with emphasis on electrical and/or fluid power.
- Valid Driver's License with transportation required.
- Self-starter, dependable, flexible and able to work with minimum supervision and guidance.
- Background and experience in electrical with PLC's, pneumatics & hydraulic knowledge and familiarity a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and walk for 2-3 hours at a time.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to twist, pull, push, kneel, and bend.
- Must be able to climb ladders and work from heights with proper fall protection.
