creates and sells fragrances, cosmetic ingredients and aroma molecules. Manufacturers use it to produce perfumes, personal care and cosmetic products, cleaning products and detergents, home fragrances and oral care products.

As a Global Product Manager
, you will play a key role in shaping and growing Symrise's cosmetic active ingredients portfolio.

This position combines strategic planning, product development, and marketing expertise to deliver innovative solutions that meet market demands and strengthen our leadership in the skin care industry.

• Develop and implement long-term strategy and annual operational plans.
• Monitor and report sales figures, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Drive growth of the cosmetic product range through market trend analysis, Global Market Watch, Business Intelligence, and scientific/technological monitoring.

• Lead projects to develop new products and enhance existing ones.
• Manage day-to-day portfolio-related requests from internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams:
  Sales, R&D, Regulatory, Product Safety, Production, Planning, QA...
• Coordinate technical projects at customer sites with sales teams and testing laboratories.
• Oversee studies to enhance the value of existing actives.

• Create product information materials such as brochures, presentations, quick sheets, and advertisements in collaboration with the global marketing & communication team.
• Train the sales team on existing portfolio and new actives.
• Deliver customer and congress presentations to promote the product range.

• Bachelor or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Skin Biology.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years as product manager within the cosmetic industry (product launch, skin care, active ingredients...).
• Scope : Global (US, LATAM, EMEA, APAC)
• Fluent in English mandatory, German and/or French a strong advantage.
• Comfortable with digital tools (MS Office) and data savvy.
• Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills to thrive in a multicultural, international, matrix environment.
• Available to travel during trade shows - 10%.
