Associate Creative Director

Syneos Health Commercial Solutions is seeking an Associate Creative Director, Copy to help shape voice and messaging across healthcare advertising campaigns. Based in Westerville, OH in an onsite role, this position focuses on leading copy strategy and delivering brand-aligned content for healthcare professionals and patients.

In this role, you will act as a creative lead for assigned brands and campaigns, guiding how words and story come together across long-form and short-form deliverables. You will partner with creative and cross-functional teams to ensure messaging stays consistent, clear, and compliant for healthcare audiences.

• Own copy for assigned brands and campaigns, serving as the creative lead for messaging.
• Partner with art directors on brand and concept development to support cohesive visual and verbal storytelling.
• Lead the creation of long-form and short-form content while maintaining brand tone, consistency, and regulatory compliance (MLR).
• Collaborate with UX, Tech, and CX teams to align content with user experience and platform requirements.
• Provide strategic creative input during client meetings and presentations.
• Participate in market research and message testing to refine promotional content.
• Mentor and manage copywriters, supporting a culture of creativity and collaboration.

• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications, English, journalism, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of agency experience, including at least 6 years in pharmaceutical copy leadership.
• Strong copywriting, storytelling, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and mentor creative talent.
• Conceptual thinking that can translate abstract ideas into compelling narratives.
• Deep understanding of social platforms including X/Twitter, Instagram, and You Tube

• Experience navigating regulatory processes and medical/legal review (

• Ability to quickly understand complex medical and technical content and translate it into clear, engaging messaging.
