St Paul Apostle: Coordinator of Adult Discipleship and Evangelization

St. Paul the Apostle Church is seeking a passionate and dynamic Coordinator of Adult Discipleship and Evangelization to guide and expand opportunities for faith enrichment, outreach, and evangelization among our adult parishioners. Serving a vibrant community of 4,200 families and supporting the spiritual growth of our 900 K-8 students, this role is pivotal in fostering an active, faith-sharing community that invites all to deepen their relationship with Christ and share their faith confidently with others.

• Adult Faith Formation
  • Develop, implement, and oversee engaging faith formation programs such as Bible studies, prayer groups, retreats, and sacramental preparation for adults.
  • Cultivate a culture of ongoing spiritual development and active participation in parish life.
• Evangelization & Outreach Leadership
  • Lead parish efforts to evangelize, inviting inactive and unchurched adults into community life through personal outreach, small groups, and special initiatives.
  • Create and promote evangelization programs, training parishioners to confidently share their faith and become evangelists.
  • Develop strategies to reach new members and bring others to an active faith life within the parish.
• Leadership & Ministry Coordination
  • Serve as the primary leader for adult evangelization initiatives, coordinating with existing ministries and fostering the growth of new evangelization efforts.
  • Support parishioners in becoming confident witnesses and hosts of faith in their daily lives and community.
• Community Engagement & Integration
  • Collaborate with other parish ministries, youth, and school programs to integrate evangelization and faith formation efforts.
  • Partner with priests, staff, and volunteers to ensure faith sharing is central to parish life.
• Communication & Promotion
  • Promote faith formation and evangelization activities through parish bulletins, social media, website, and personal invitations.
  • and sustain relationships with parishioners to encourage participation and faith-sharing opportunities.
• Assessment & Strategic Planning:
• Evaluate the effectiveness of faith formation and evangelization programs, seeking feedback for continuous improvement.
• Develop innovative strategies to deepen faith and expand evangelization efforts in response to community needs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Pastoral Ministries, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience in adult faith formation, evangelization, or parish leadership.
• Deep understanding of Catholic doctrine and evangelization techniques.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Motivated to inspire and empower parishioners to share their faith confidently.
• Proficient in digital tools, social media, and online engagement strategies.
