Head Pastor

First Baptist Church of Union, Ohio, is prayerfully seeking a Senior Pastor to lead, shepherd, teach, and serve our congregation. Our church is committed to Biblical Authority, Evangelistic Missions, Exciting Worship, Healthy Family Units, and Discipleship, with a mission to know Jesus Christ and share Him with as many people as possible.

In accordance with our Constitution and By-Laws, candidates should be a licensed and ordained Southern Baptist male minister, in full fellowship with Southern Baptist denominational agencies with which the church cooperates. The Senior Pastor must believe the Bible is the complete, infallible, and inerrant Word of God and be committed to preaching and teaching the entire Bible.

Candidates must fully support the church's Articles of Faith and Church Covenant and meet the biblical qualifications for pastoral leadership outlined in passages including 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9.

We are seeking a pastor who demonstrates biblical character, spiritual maturity, a heart for people, a passion for evangelism and discipleship, and a cooperative spirit in working with deacons, church leaders, and the congregation.
