Registered Nurse, House Supervisor (Nights)

Purpose of Job:
As an employee of Trinity Hospital Twin City, it is the responsibility of this and all positions within the Hospital to support the mission and role of Trinity Hospital Twin City. In addition, this position will actively support the Hospital’s Strategic Plan in the areas of People, Service, Quality, Finance, and Growth, in a team based environment. The employee also performs all job duties in compliance with laws and regulations in the observance of accrediting agency standards.

The RN House Supervisor is responsible for supervising activities of all Nursing personnel on Patient care Units/areas. Ensures provision of Nursing/Hospital services through adherence to JCAHO and other regulatory standards. Assumes administrative responsibility for the hospital during absence of designee. Consults with and advises patient care staff, Clinical Managers, Nurse Directors, and Department Managers on problems and issues related to their patient care units/areas and reports operational issues to the Nursing Directors and Director of Nursing.
