Job Type: Interim Assignment

Pay: $55–$60 per hour | $2,200–$2,400 per week based on a 40-hour workweek

Tobin & Associates is seeking an experienced Interim Director of Nursing for a client skilled nursing facility in Cortland, Ohio. This assignment is ideal for a hands‑on nursing leader who can provide stability, support the nursing team, and maintain quality resident care during a leadership transition.

• Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure safe, resident-centered care.

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff.

• Manage staffing and scheduling in collaboration with facility leadership.

• Monitor clinical practices, documentation, and regulatory compliance.

• Support survey readiness, quality improvement initiatives, and plans of correction as needed.

• Oversee infection prevention practices and address clinical concerns promptly.

• Collaborate with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to support resident outcomes.

• Maintain clear communication with residents, families, staff, and leadership.

• Active, unrestricted RN license authorizing practice in Ohio.

• Previous Director of Nursing experience in a skilled nursing or long‑term care setting.

• Strong knowledge of skilled nursing regulations, clinical operations, and survey processes.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

• Ability to adapt quickly, assess priorities, and provide effective interim leadership.

• Prior interim leadership experience preferred.
