Home Health Visit Nurse; LPN or RN; Two Visits​/x Pike County - Ohio | SE OH

• Active Ohio LPN or RN in good standing is required.
• Paid experience at a home health agency (or equivalent) is preferred.
• Ability to consistently, reliably provide services in Pike County, Ohio twice daily x 7 days per week is required.
• Mileage reimbursement provided. Reliable transportation is required.
• No On-Call shifts required.

Immediate Client needs require the following minimum schedule:

• Sunday
  - Saturday (Twice a day)

Candidates interested in additional cases and increased hours must be willing to travel:

• Up to 60 minutes for routine patient assignments.
• Up to 90-120 minutes when necessary to maintain or build full-time hours.

To support our growth and the increasing volume of client care throughout Ohio, we are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, accountable, and self-motivated home health LPN or RN to join our agency as a Home Health Visit Nurse to care for clients in and around Pike County, Ohio for visits 2x/day, 7 days/wk.

• LPNs: $28- $30 per hour
• RNs: $35 - $38 per hour

* Compensation is based on employee qualifications and certifications, experience, skill specializations, positive employment history, and overall client & team fit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Active LPN or RN, with current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio, is required.
• Wound care experience is required.
• At least 1 year in home health industry + 1 year of nursing experience. Additional Home Health Nursing experience/ familiarity is highly desired.
• Active CPR and First Aid certificates highly desired (for speed to start care), but agency will provide recertification if required.
• Minimum of 1 year direct patient experience with vent care is required.
• Good interpersonal communication skills - written and verbal.
• Desirable character traits: reliable, honest beyond reproach, professional, compassionate, detail-oriented (in care + documentation), accountable, friendly and accommodating, respectful.
• Current driver's license or state , plus reliable transportation, are required.
• Excellent attendance record with past employers.
• Ability to meet all of the basic job requirements is a must.
• Willingness and ability to pass state and federal background check.
