American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a minimum of 2 years cath lab experience and an OH or compact RN license.

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab performing diagnostic and interventional catheterizations
• Patient population includes adult diagnostic and interventional catheterization cases
• Utilizes specialized equipment including IABP, temporary pacemakers, permanent pacemakers, ICD, Micra, peripheral equipment, and Penumbra devices
• Performs procedures including stent and balloon placement with conscious sedation
• Lab staffing ratio is 2 nurses and 1 tech, with recovery area staffed at 2 nurses for up to 7 patients
• Charting systems include Xper, Paragon, and Athena with training provided
• Day shift schedule Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm
• On-call requirement of 8-9 call shifts per 4-week schedule
• One weekend on-call commitment per schedule cycle (Friday 4:30pm-Monday 7:30am) plus approximately 5 weekdays within a 4-week period
• Floating limited to nuclear medicine for stress tests or sedation support for biopsies
• Assignment may include time split between the lab and pre/post procedure areas

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required
• Experience with procedural sedation administration and monitoring required
• Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management required
• Experience with left and right heart catheterization and pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring required
• US citizenship required for consideration

• Provide direct patient care in both the cath lab and recovery/pre-post procedure areas
• Scrubs are provided for this position
• First-time travelers will be considered for this role
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
