MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer‑oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our vehicle sustainment team in Waldmohr, Germany
. The selected candidate will provide maintenance and logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.

Selected candidates without an ACTIVE German/E.U. Work Visa will be required to work the first 60 days in a temporary role while obtaining their Visa. Once an E.U. Work Visa is approved, you will be offered a full‑time German contract. You will be subject to paying German taxes, obtaining German healthcare, and working within the guidelines of the German labor system.

Responsibilities
  • Assist senior Quality Assurance personnel and perform functional duties under their oversight.
  • Under direction, facilitate the development of a Quality Assurance program and oversee inspections and corrective action plans that meet or exceed maintenance and supply standards.
  • Perform quality assurance for all work conducted within assigned mission areas.
  • Inspect work in progress and document observations.
  • Prepare corrective action plans based on data, observations, and reports.
  • Submit recommendations for any required training to improve quality control processes or to correct identified deficiencies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Ten (10) or more years of relevant experience, to include:
  • Providing administrative support and coordination to a contract, project, or task.
  • Preparing and managing correspondence, reports, and documents; implementing and maintaining office systems, schedules, and calendars; handling incoming mail and materials; setting up and maintaining file systems; collating information; and maintaining databases.
  • Knowledge and experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS), such as ISO 9001 standards and Army maintenance quality assurance procedures.
  • Experience auditing internal policies and procedures and recommending process improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency with office productivity tools such as the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Must successfully pass a Pre‑Employment Drug Screening; must possess a valid Driver’s License for the work location, a High School Diploma or GED, and a Passport valid for at least one year beyond the start date.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Willingness to travel to various U.S. and OCONUS locations.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management standards.
  • Experience performing or overseeing quality assurance for maintenance or sustainment operations involving tactical or armored vehicles.
Clearance Requirements

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance prior to starting this position.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
  • Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
  • Must be able to work in high noise areas.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs and small parts.
  • Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
