Quality Technician
The Quality Technician plays a key role in ensuring that manufactured caps meet strict quality standards before leaving the production line. In this role, you inspect parts using basic measuring tools and perform thorough visual inspections to verify that each product meets specifications and quality requirements.
Responsibilities- Inspect parts coming off the production line to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications.
- Perform detailed visual inspections to identify defects, inconsistencies, or nonconforming products.
- Use basic measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and gages to verify dimensional accuracy of parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints and product specifications to understand required measurements and quality criteria.
- Conduct quality checks and final inspections on finished products prior to release.
- Document inspection results accurately and consistently in quality control systems and logs.
- Follow quality assurance and quality control procedures to maintain compliance with internal standards.
- Collaborate with production team members to communicate quality issues and support corrective actions.
- Operate or interface with CMM (coordinate measuring machines) and SAP or similar systems as needed for quality documentation and tracking.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety and quality guidelines.
- Previous quality experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to perform visual inspection to identify defects and nonconforming parts.
- Basic proficiency using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and gages.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and product specifications.
- Understanding of quality control, quality assurance, and quality check processes.
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills for accurate inspection.
- Ability to follow established quality procedures and work instructions.
- Basic familiarity with quality documentation and final inspection practices.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience using micrometers for precise dimensional measurement.
- Experience using calipers for verifying product dimensions.
- Exposure to CMM (coordinate measuring machines) for advanced measurement and inspection.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise systems for recording quality data.
- Experience in QA, QC, or quality control roles within a manufacturing setting.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced production environment with repetitive inspection tasks.

WorkEnvironment
You work in a clean manufacturing environment focused on safety and quality. Safety glasses are required, and some areas also require hair nets, beard nets, and steel-toed boots. The role is based on a second‑shift schedule from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a shift differential available for this shift. You spend most of your time on or near the production line, using measuring tools and inspection equipment while following established safety and cleanliness standards.

This is a Permanent position based out of Johnstown, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $48880.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
