Location: Germany
Research Fellowship (MSc) – Plant Biotechnology
iBET, has an open position for a research fellowship in the field of Plant Biotechnology available within the project “Optimizing Plant Performance under Climate Change Scenarios”, , financed by iBETXplore.
- Bachelor’s and Master´s degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or related areas, with a minimum grade of 16 (out of 20) and 18 (out of 20), respectively;
- Laboratory experience in plant molecular biology, including model cereals (Oryza sativa);
- Experience in transforming rice plants and their molecular and physiological characterisation;
- Experience in photobiology;
- Knowledge of RNA‑seq data analysis;
- Availability to spend time in a photobiology lab in Germany;
- Strong organisational, communication, and teamwork skills;
- Excellent English knowledge;
The fellowship will have a duration of 3 months
, eventually renewed until the end of the project, without prejudice of the maximum limits foreseen by law. The expected starting date is 1 of April 2025
.
