As our Sous Chef, you’ll be a key player in the heart of our operation, ensuring every plate, process, and person reflects Concord’s standards.
- Train and mentor associates on culinary techniques, recipes, and plate presentation
- Build clear, effective schedules and promote open communication
- Ensure your team has the tools they need to perform their best
- Proactively address and resolve kitchen challenges
- Participate in departmental meetings, inventory control, and MOD responsibilities
- Uphold food quality and consistency by ensuring recipes and timelines are followed
- Support operational goals that boost efficiency and profitability
- Supervise kitchen, utility, and sanitation staff in the absence of the Executive Chef
- Maintain accurate recipe files, production logs, and payroll submissions
- Previous kitchen leadership experience preferred
- Strong culinary foundation with knowledge of food prep, plating, and operations
- Proven ability to train, motivate, and lead a team
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
- Professionalism, integrity, and a passion for delivering memorable dining experiences
