Overview
Join our team as a Utility worker at Wilberforce University, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, and welcoming ambiance of our front-of-house area. Your efforts will contribute to providing a pleasant and efficient dining experience for our valued students, faculty, and staff.
Responsibilities
* Clean and sanitize all dining and kitchen areas to meet standards.
* Operate dishwashers efficiently and maintain them.
* Handle waste disposal and support recycling efforts.
* Restock dining supplies for smooth operations.
* Assist with basic food prep tasks.
* Ensure adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines. Report issues promptly.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar role preferred, especially in a food service environment.
* Understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures and practices.
* Ability to collaborate and work well within a team.
* Ability to handle physical demands of the job.
* Flexibility to adjust to varying tasks and schedules.
