The Dietary Cook prepares and serves nutritious meals for residents while following approved menus, recipes, and dietary restrictions. This position plays an important role in resident satisfaction by providing quality meals and excellent service. The Dietary Cook also helps maintain a clean, safe kitchen and follows all food safety guidelines.

• Cook meals using menus and recipes
• Prepare food for special diets when needed
• Follow food safety and sanitation rules
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized
• Stock supplies and help manage inventory
  
  Work as part of the dietary team
• Provide great service to residents

• At least 2 years of cooking experience required
• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic knowledge of food safety
• Able to follow recipes and instructions
• Able to manage time and stay organized
• Experience in healthcare, senior living, restaurants, or food service is a plus
