Private Sector Account Executive - DACH

Our Account Executives are expert storytellers and problem-solvers – we help private sector companies track and prevent fraud.

Account Executives are experienced in both new business and account management, market specialists. They establish trust, build strong relationships within target markets and compliance stakeholders, tailor their sales approach to their needs, and evangelize Chainalysis solutions. Success is measured by quota attainment, forecast accuracy, and account growth.

In This Role, You'll
  • Exceed your quota and substantially increase our foothold in the private sector markets within DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) through strategic prospecting and developing your sales pipeline as well as expanding existing accounts.
  • Build relationships with customers based on trust and transparency, resulting in network referrals that build Chainalysis’ brand awareness.
  • Create and execute go-to-market plans that result in predictable and increasing quarterly forecasts.
  • Build a diverse pipeline of opportunities resulting in consistent and accurate forecasting.
  • Help us develop compelling product positioning and messaging specific to market trends, competitive drivers, and region‑specific sales channels.
  • Provide expert advice to prospects related to technical concepts, product roadmaps, solution implementations, training, and craft appropriate customer proposals.
We're Looking For Candidates Who Have
  • Strong industry knowledge within Financial Services.
  • An articulate, enthusiastic, and effective communicator who can convey complex concepts in an approachable and concise way.
  • Excellent communication skills to present Chainalysis at customer‑facing and conference presentations.
  • A proven track record in new business development and market creation.
  • The ability to travel.
  • A solid track record of over‑achieving quota in past positions.
Nice To Have Experience
  • You don’t have to be a blockchain expert, but you’re insatiably curious and willing to learn.
